Process

How we work

From first enquiry to oral evidence at trial. Time estimates are typical and depend on the expert's diary, disclosure volume, and the procedural directions in your case.

  1. Day 0

    Send your enquiry

Email a brief: the legal question, the parties, your deadline, and any disclosure already to hand.

  2. A day or two

    Initial review

We read the brief, identify the type of expert needed, and check for conflicts.

  3. Within a few days

    Match and quote

We propose a named expert with relevant substantive practice, a fixed fee, and an honest timescale.

  4. Your timing

    Letter of instruction and disclosure

You send the letter of instruction and bundle. We confirm receipt and the report deadline.

  5. Two to four weeks

    Assessment

The expert reviews records and conducts the interview, in person or by secure video as the case requires.

  6. Four to six weeks

    Draft report

A CPR Part 35 compliant report is delivered in draft, addressing the legal question and the issues raised.

  7. As required

    Part 35 questions and conference

The expert answers written questions and attends conference if instructed.

  8. As listed

    Joint statement and trial

The expert participates in expert meetings, prepares a joint statement, and attends trial where required.
