From first enquiry to oral evidence at trial. Time estimates are typical and depend on the expert's diary, disclosure volume, and the procedural directions in your case.

Send your enquiry
Email a brief: the legal question, the parties, your deadline, and any disclosure already to hand.

Initial review
We read the brief, identify the type of expert needed, and check for conflicts.

Within a few days
Match and quote
We propose a named expert with relevant substantive practice, a fixed fee, and an honest timescale.

Your timing
Letter of instruction and disclosure
You send the letter of instruction and bundle. We confirm receipt and the report deadline.

Two to four weeks
Assessment
The expert reviews records and conducts the interview, in person or by secure video as the case requires.

Four to six weeks
Draft report
A CPR Part 35 compliant report is delivered in draft, addressing the legal question and the issues raised.

Part 35 questions and conference
The expert answers written questions and attends conference if instructed.

Joint statement and trial
The expert participates in expert meetings, prepares a joint statement, and attends trial where required.
